So I'm changing my radiator coolant today and take off the front skid and what to my wonderous eyes should appear but a couple nice rusty holes in the center of the bottom "crossmember" support under the radiator.
First off, anyone else have this? What did you do?
Second, if I was to cut out the damaged part and weld in a new section, what thickness steel should I use and would this method effect a satisfactory repair?

Dan look around. I know you can buy the radiator support brackets. If not the whole thing. And simply weld it back on.
