I just wanted to say hello I am a "newbie" to the group and to Off_Roading.

My name is Michael I'm from Oxford CT just got myself a 2012 PRO4-X and I am stoked to have some fun in it. I apologies now for any "newbie" flubs and look forward to some help in getting the most out of my X and well of course meet some nice people.

Run!

Get out now! Wheeling is not an inexpensive hobby and in the North East, trees and brush will pinstripe your beautiful vehicle.

If your too stupid to listen to the above advice..... Welcome aboard, its a fun ride and these guys & gals are a very good group to do it with. They have lots of experience and are very helpful. It's fun to get together and discuss mods, everyone takes a different path to make their rig meet their expectations, and I'm not sure any of us have got there yet. I'd recommend talking with a number of us about what we've done, how we've done it and why, before you throw your hard eared money at mods.

I hope you make it out with us. If you haven't been warned yet get rid of your splash guards (mud flaps) and steps if you have them. Otherwise your Pro-4X should be good to start but think sliders fairly soon.

In addition to club runs Jeff (JAC04) & I wheel every week or two about an hour north of you. Under the Regional Event section we have last year's runs posted and will shortly get going on this years runs. We're going to check out the condition of the trails this weekend. We enjoy meeting up and running a small group through the trails. We even did a night run last fall, I think we'll be doing more of them as it was a blast!

If you want to join us on future runs keep an eye out we don't give much warning. The Trails are Pro-4X friendly, if friendly means you will be hitting your factory skids and using your locker a couple of times. having a rear recovery point is also quite valuable.

Again, welcome,
Scott
