Colorado move brings me to Buffalo...I'm a nOOb!

Hey all,

I'm excited this NE Xterra group exists and I'm looking forward to meeting you during early spring runs and meet-ups (beef and food?! I'm in!).

My wife and I are moving from Colorado to Buffalo in about two weeks, expecting our first baby boy in May, and have a small mini poodle / bichon frise mix (I may be more obsessed than her, but the verdict is still out).

I have an '07 Xterra that doesn't have much in the way of major mods, mostly just some cabin accouterments that make me feel more like the beast 4x4 pilot I'm not: new stereo, new CB, tho I also have just invested in new tires, a new timing chain (major upper and lower compartments), new CURT cargo rack, a Raingler net for the cargo area, blah, blah, blah.

I'll get some pics posted later next week as we prepare for the 1/2-way across the northern tundra of our country!

...America, f*** yeah!

I live in North Buffalo near UB south.
Have a Gen1 with a 4' CB antenna if you see me around.

I ironically will be leaving I about an hour to head out west to AZ to visit the wife's g-Ma and G-pa

Thanks so much for the welcome, you all. I'm happy to report my wife, dog and I had a great "event free" drive from Colorado to Buffalo, NY. Looks like we'll be slowly moving in to our place over the next 10 days due to the timing of various factors. It's quite nice to be here and I look forward to catching up with you all at a meet-up or run before too long.

Well if you spot me I'm usually on channel 19. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a gen2 with an CB antenna. What color is your rig?

Right on, I'll be on the lookout.

I'll have my Colorado plates on for a while, so there's that.

My 2007 is "Night Armor Pearl / Mica" with my CB antenna on the hood, drivers side. I have a CURT cargo rack and "newxterra" X's on the back and side.

I too am on 19 more than any other, tho it sure is quiet out there these days, huh?
