Ok they are finally done. Pics are of the D44 version.

The Nissan axle version (for non-Off-road model 2005+ Xterra's) is done too. It Looks almost exactly the same. Will have pics of that one in a couple days.

The Ring is 3/8" Steel
The Guard is 1/4" steel
New longer SS Hex bolts included.

The design of this cover offers several benefits:

- No loss of ground clearance at what it already the lowest point on the truck.

- Complete protection of the vulnerable cap which can be pushed into the ring rear when hitting something in reverse.

- Prevents the lip from getting peeled back when dragging over rocks which will cause fluid leaks.

- Allows you to maintain the factory mounts for the emergency brake cable and the rear brake line.

- Doesn't require removal of the stock cover, re-sealing and re-filling.

Price is $109.00

Comes bare steel. Powder Coat Black +20.00.

Taking orders starting today. First batch ships in 4-5 weeks. After that, we plan to keep them in stock.

Also...the black bar going by it...do I have that already? I don't recall seeing it. And I'm sure as heck not going out to look right now!!! *brrrr*

Thanks!

That black bar is the sway bar, anti sway bar, traction control bar, or a host of other things manufacturers call it. Yours has one, unless you took it off, and if you haven't you should. You'll never miss the thing and it will give you a little more flex on the trails.

I think this is a great thing to add on to the new X since Nissan cheesed out on the diffs. Big engine, cheapo drive train. The cover on your diff is just sheet metal and it can be pealed back if you drag it over a rock. It's good insurance and wow, it looks cool.

I wish I could put one on my truck.

Thank you. I dont know about pricing things but it seems like it's not a bad price. The piece looks great and I thing if it's going to protect like it says it will, then it's definitely a thing to have.

Does the bar just have bolts? If it wasn't cold and raining ice outside, I'd go out right now and take it off, just to be able to finally DO something to the X!!!!

Thanks a lot!!!!

Probably 8 to 10 bolts and it is off. Really quite easy and you'll feel better for doing it.

Anything Shrock is worth the money. He's a great guy too.

That is the idea, but most people don't notice that it is gone. Then again, my truck won't do high speeds.
