I'll take Gene's idea and add all the waypoints to my GPS so that we can follow the same route.

I'll also get my CB moved to my truck to so that we can stay in touch.

A NJ pitstop sound good since it will most likely the cheapest gas we can find. That way we will not be too low on gas when we get to the campgrounds. ;)

Um, We don't need to Meet up with me twice unless you guys want to?
I'll be leaving from Newport, RI so i'll meet up with you all at the Milford Stop.

If we still want to keep that as a stop that cool but think we can skip it unless there is someone we are meeting there.

Just a heads up

Please confirm where you would like to meet and ill update the list.

If we end up not meeting anyone at "Stop #2" then we can take it off the list and play it by ear on the drive when to stop and discuss over CB's

I'm good with meeting at the rest stop that we talked about to start off from. Say, get there by 8:00a and we'll leave by 8:30a at the latest?

I edited the post because I think we should leave as early as is reasonable so that we get to the campsite as early as possible so that we can stake out our normal spot - especially since there will be more trucks this year than in the last couple and I'd really like to be able to get that same central location again if we could

Well the NJ spot #2 sounds good for me to meet up with the caravan. Does anyone from last year remember how long it took to arrive there? It would give me an idea of a meeting time.

If I remember correctly it was like 2-2 1/2 hours from the CT spot..

How long will it take you to get to that spot? If it's shorter then the guys can call you when they're leaving Ct. and you can head to the other spot.. ;)

I have no problem with that just that we might hit morning rush hour traffic... I think last year we made good time maybe because we missed the traffic for everyone trying to get to work at 8am... if you think this isnt the case then thats fine.

you make a good point about the timing of meeting up then and avoiding the traffing..

I'll be there around 8:30a at the latest because I want to shake out the trailer and will leave myself extra time to make the first leg.

Well worse case scenario it would take about the same amount of time from home to the NJ spot. I'll just wind up leaving at 9 like the caravan to insure I'm there on time. I know Svendog has my cell so if they are running late he, or a delgate of his choosing, could call if running late. Better be hands free calling if the caller is driving though! At least in NYS or calling me. Really hate people driving holding cells to their head.
