Ok here's the deal. there was supposed to be 5 teams in our class and one team that was modified (meaning SAS'd).. 1 team wasn't there, that was supposed to be Dan and Dave. so that brought it down to four teams.
they went is this order.
Team
1.) alliedacid & punkrockdrummer
2.) queensxterra & Baf6 (or something like that)
3.) XVTer & XterraVT
4.) BrooklynX & Svendog
Two teams made it all the way thru to the end and 2 teams didn't.
The first team up (they're in order above) ended up shearing all six bolts (I believe) on his CV and the other blew a brake line (but I think that was easily fixed of the trail) oh and a flat as well.
The 2nd team had some engine troubles and I think there was soemthing else. So if I'm not mistaken they had something else wrong with them as well.
3rd team didn't have anything go wrong with them. I believe
Team 4 didn't have any incidents. Oh wait a flat, but that was changed out in under 4 minutes thanks to team work.
But for the most part it was two teams that finished and we'll just have to wait for saturday night to find out who won the event.
I just figured I'd give you guys a little rundown of the comp. It boils down to NEXterra members winning it either way..
