Well Andy is out. The knuckle head forgot to register and Mike won?t let him in late. Sooo, if you still want to do this you?re in.

If Svendog doesn't, or joined with someone else.... i'll volunteer... but I also don't have a winch.

Which ever of us is better rquipped to give the team a chance is the one that should go. If my truck / skills would be the weaker link, then I'm more than willing to trade out.

I want the team to have the best chance of winning this, especially since I wanted to do it as more of a learning experience.

Let's meet up on Wednesday and have Tom and Scott check out each of our trucks - to see which might have the better chance.

Here's what mine looks like now:

I think the big things I have against me are:
No front bumper
Age of some parts
Relative inexperience.

In my favor, I've done a lot within the last year to the truck. (edit: when I say that I've done a lot to it, I mean that I've spent a good chunk of change over the last year, but have had a ton of help on most of the work that was actually done.)

I?m not going to stand for that, they can run but they can?t win with a jeep.

Svendog the truck looks great.

Thanks.
I remember telling Gene and Jeff at last year's ECXC that I was going to consider a suspension lift by ECXC'07, but that would likely be the extent of it.

Since then, a lot more has been done and it's gone from being more on the stock side to what you see today..

Well Sven you have another 1.5" on me with the full SL. Go ahead and run it... just as long as you're doin it balls out!!! :)

Tom, I don't know why he is bringing his Jeep, he has a perfectly good X, with a winch.... it's Lenny from WPAXC with the Orange X.

PS.... don't tell him i'm bitching about it on another board..... hehe, but I don't think it's all that cool myself.

souds like a plan to me.
I just went out and got a grease gun so that I could lube everything up.

I'm trying to rebuild the alternator that I have, but cannot get the pully off, nor can I separate the two halves.

UGH

Hey... anyone online every rebuild an alternator?

Is the pully bolt reverse threaded? And, is there a way to get it off without an impact wrench? I got the rear half off and can see how the bearings can be replaced, but as long as I'm in there, I'd like to try and get the front off as well.
