Getting new shoes for the X

Ok the tires on the X are 25K in and really starting to suck. So the big bonus check comes and I got the Ok to buy some new ones.

Here is where I need some assistance- tire decision is pretty well made- BFG TA KO 285x75x16 "D" load rating for the snow rating.

Sam's Club and Sears both have a very good price- but I want to buy 5 tires.

My fullsize spare has never been used -ever- Neither one of those places would give me a credit for that tire....has anyone else done this? Or do I just keep it and throw i up on ebay?

Ok - flip flopped my tire selection- got a great deal on some Cooper STT's- I know they will be a bit louder but the more I thought about it, I only put 5-6K miles on it per year and what would I rather have when i go to Moab in 09?

265x75R16 "E" Load Rating $169 each installed plus when I buy all 5 they will give me $90 for the ununsed spare....now I have to wait until next saturday to get'em installed....

How loud are they really? I have heard that it isn't that noticeable until you are at 70mph+

Not too bad on the asphault....so far so good. Now to really test them out.
