when i was removing my radio i think i shorted something because it immediately turn of with a little popping sound. i thought it could be the fuse i checked them and the seem to look good. idk what else it could be, i need help.

Did the "pop" come from inside the radio? Did you smell an electrical burn? I'm no electrical technician, but maybe it was a transistor or capacitor. And if it was, you might be better off replacing the radio.

I didn't smell electricall burn, the pop seemed like a fuse pop to me. I'm getting a new radio today and going to see if that was the problem.

its not the radio, its something with the car. the fuses are fine, i guy at a local shot told me the wire could burn out and to run a new wire from the fuse box to the radio i have no idea how to do that
