Hopefully quick question... Since SLR is out of business i am unsure where i can find the answer...

Does the SLR upper control arms use the same ball joint as stock? I believe mine are shot and i need to order new ones.

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1632896

Thanks! :D

I believe they are the same, since they are very similar to Calmini, but I don't have them, so I'm not sure.

Hopefully someone with SLR will chime in.

I think that might not be correct. I believe they are not the same. I think SLR UCA?s uses the ball joints from a '95 Pathy. Nissan part # D011001G25, or MOOG, NAPA, etc. equivalent for about $30 less.

That's the same as Calmini. There are no "stock" ball joints for the Xterra as the originals are built into the UCA and are not replaceable except as a unit as the whole UCA.

Ball joints from a '95 pathy are also used in the AC (4x4parts) UCAs too

Based upon my experience with Spencer, the pathy ball joints are the way to go

Ok so i changed out my UCA ball joints. You were correct the SLR UCA's use the '95 Pathfinder ball joints.

Now part two... Does anyone know about the lower control arms (stock)? Can i change out the LCA Ball joints? i see on Rock auto i can purchase the ball joints but it almost seems they are pressed into the LCA. Does anyone know if it is possible to change them out? As always I appreciate the help!
