Ok i Bought the Tie-Rods and everything else ( Center link hoohaa) and i'm trying to put them in but i dont have a locking nut for the "left handed Thread". I have a right handed one but not the lefthanded one. Normal stores like Lowes and Homedepot and Autozone dont have them...

Need an idea on were to get them. Theres a store in Tiverton that near Both Gene and i but i dont remember the name of the damn store.

i think the bolt's a 22MM ... i think.

Any Suggestions.

You bought the Tie-rod-ends, the Tie-rod adjusters, or the Tie-rod assembly?
What ever you bought did not come with a lock nut?
Did you lose the one that was on the old part?
Where did you buy the new part?

I believe 22mm is the nut that holds the tie-rod-end to the center-link and to the spindle.

NAPA sells the assembly (NAPA part # BA1014740) so should sell the nut.

I bought the Tie rod ends ( both inners and outer separately )

I bought the after market adjustors from AC.

And my old ones i throw away, cause the tierod ends were shot. i never even though of the locking nuts.

Hmm, seems odd that adjusters would come without lock nuts. I?d try calling AC and bitching ?how can you send me adjusters with no lock nuts?. You can tell them the old ones are frozen and WTF (instead of ?I threw the old ones out before I got the new ones? ).

After they disappoint you try NAPA.

The NAPA adjuster is part # NCP2691183. It costs about $30 and comes with both lock nuts.

Thread Type:Male
Left Hand Thread:M14 - 1.50
Right Hand Thread:M14 - 1.50
Sleeve Length:6.61

I think you might be right that nut is 22mm.

I tried searching for the nut alone but can?t find it, sorry. You might try a junk yard or buy the whole adjuster from NAPA and carry a spare. That?s as far as my thinking takes me, hope it helps a bit.

Derek the place is called Aquidnick Fasteners.

I can also check my old one to see if it still has the nuts on them.

No mike yours are on the the truck still. I believe Rome's got my old ones. When i put them in the trash i didn't think that they would sell either the Ends or adjustors with out nuts... i just can't understand that.
