I had this happen to me for a while and it ended up being my lock out on my torque converter.

Check your ATF fluid and top off if need be.

All checks out. Even had a trusted local 4x4 shop check everything they could think of. Looks like a full go for the Fools Run!

Ah but wait... Perhaps not... Went to have the tires rotated then get an alignment -the plot thickens... I'll report back when I have more information.

Glad I did the Fools Run.
Went for second opinion today on the front end. Boots torn and throwing grease as BklynX spotted some time ago in a pic I posted, bearings okay, passenger upper ball joint screwed, some bushings to be replaced and think he said tie rod ends... anyway will get the parts together and have it done. The full list is not yet in my hands. After 9 years something was bound to be needed. The upper ball joint was new in December from the AC 3" lift kit so that was the disappointing item. Ordered ball joint/CVs from AC and will see if I can determine the make of them for future reference. (Nissan gets $480 each for new ones BTW)

my AC ball joint crapped after 2 weeks so no surprise there, go to NAPA and buy heavy duty ball joints for 95' pathfinder they fit perfect with the AC uca's

Well here are some new parts going in Thursday, I hope. Ball joint & new CV axles came today from AC.

Hopefully that solves the issues, Dave.

Hope so, tomorrow will be an expensive day but after nine years, it happens. I'll be in touch regarding our conversation before too much longer once I know this is solved.

Sometimes a trip to a Nissan tech is the right move in my case.

Out of the shop and getting an alignment in the morning. Nissan tells me I'm set to go. Time will tell on that... The alignment will not lie IMHO

BTW, they also told me that the lift was done the right way with a solid good quality kit. The techs liked it anyway. Seems that they see some lifts that are a mess. Darned if I know.

Edit: Parts Replaced
2 - CV Axles (AC)
1 - Upper Ball Joint (AC)
1 - D8530-VK90A Idler Kit-Steer (Nissan)
1 - D8560-VK90A Rod Kit-Relay (Nissan)

All lined up fine and no issues so far anyway.
