this is a topic i just cant figure out. no matter how much reding i do i cant figure out which size rims will fit on my truck. i need to get them in a 16x8. i dont know what the bolt pattern size is and what the back spacing does. here is the site. i have a 2001 and if some one could just tell me which ones will fit i would feel a lot less stupid.

I could be wrong, but I believe yours are 6x5.5". (correct me if I'm wrong)

Item: 260-3977860P (second from bottom under 16x8)

Pretty much backspacing makes your tires stick out.

Check out this link for more information.

I was in the same boat as you, didn't really get it. But this page helped a lot!

The wheels you are looking at are the exact same ones I ordered for my 05 and they did not fit because of the design of the wheel. All the numbers were correct (number of bolts, size of bolts, distance of bolts, backspacing...etc) but still didn't fit.

Find out what your backspacing is, might be able to find that in the manual or ask another person that owns an 01.

JOSH, these rims from the site you posted should fit.
260-3977860P
Soft 8 397 Series Wheel
Finish: Black
Size: 16'' x 8''
Bolt Circle: 6 x 5-1/2''
Rear Spacing: 5''

i believe the rear spacing on xterras it 5 1/2". also i think most stock rims are 16X7. but these will work. i hope i was some help to you.

Yes Josh, that is normal.

The problem I had with the rims were the caliber was too big with the design of the wheel.

When you order from Jegs you pay shipping back if they don't fit. So I would recommend ordering 1. Go to a local place and see if they can just test it to see if it fits correctly. Once you mount the tire, you keep the wheel. So DON'T mount it! Just put the wheel on the truck and check spacing. If they don't fit, then it only costs you like $11 to ship it back to them.

Just my 2 cents mate.

They have 2-3 day shipping to most places in the country. I got mine in 2 days and I'm a little north of you. So you shouldn't have a problem. :)
