Also a few times a year we have Supporting Member only runs. Usually Old Florida Road or the like. Besides that, non-Supporting Members pay $10 more each run for the event fee. Really, if you go on more than a couple runs a year, it’s worth your $$ to become a Paid Member. And like was already mentioned, you have a say in the direction of the club, be it voting or the eligibility to be nominated as an elected official. Currently V.P. and Secretary are up for nominations in the S.M. area.
On a side note. There is a lot going on behind the curtain, like Nick said. The NEA4WD meetings are a way to see who and how those in our wheeling community are working towards our interests. And why we have access to the properties we run. Attending a meeting is an eye opening experience. I suggest attending at least one.
Answered lol.... Yeah, I think in more ways it has been an unforgettable journey with all of you and so far, and ecspecily you Murphy, who took the time to invite me on a 13 hour long adventure last Saturday. I had a great time meeting some other groups and really getting a hands down feel of blue trails. I do spread the word about NEXTERRA and how it works to many of my clients through the land surveying work I do, considering these property owners have way to much land on there hands, and how they could make some extra money from mature and dedicated groups. But as we all know when the fun is over, we have to get back to life, work, kids, and other responsibilities, which can sometimes change the course of mod days or events. So with that said, I'm just going to continue to get the X to a comfortable level and look forward towards becoming a supporting member. Also Id like to add, it's not just the wheeling! It's involving family to start something new and be a part of something.
