to Rausch Creek for at least Thursday-Saturday May 14-16th?? There is a HUGE event going on there that Friday. It is the King of the Hammers East Coast qualifying event. The top ten finishers of the race qualify for the 2010 King of the Hammers event in Johnson, CA. This is a FULL ON race!! No speed limits or anything and will take place not only within the Rausch Creek area that we are familiar with but across the street on the Rally course as well. The race is multiple laps and more than 50+ miles in total length. The course will be a mix of extreme rock crawling and high speed sections designed to simulate the mix of desert racing/rock crawling that the King of the Hammers race in CA encompasses. There are 39 teams currently entered each with numerous pit crew, co-drivers, etc. and the parties are likely to be epic. Most teams are showing up on Tuesday or Wednesday, the race is on Friday and most teams are staying through Saturday so their non-racing members can get some trail riding in...Google the King of the Hammers race or go to the Rausch Creek website and look in the forums to get a better idea of how great this race is...I am intending to go at the moment and wanted to see if anyone else had an interest in attending...

Bummer, wish I could make this one, but, like Dave, I'll be headed west...
