Hay!

I have been away from this forum for a while. I was and am still going through a rough time with my ex bf, Gunnar the one some of you met once. Lots of problems but not gonna bore you with them, no drama here lol... One being tho my X is registered in his name but working on that ;) Anyways, I havent really been wheeling that much as of lately but wanting to get back into it and finally go on a stock run next time you guys run one. I had the PML put in, well just the shackles that Gene had brought to me but never did the front done cuz no one knows how so far. I also had the shrock work sliders put on last year.
one question I do have, can i put 265 75 16 tires on my X. i have 265 70 16's now with out the front of the truck being lifted yet. my front tires are bald... need something done to that to... thanks looking forward to doing some wheelin with you guys soon

What year is your truck? If it's a 2002 and later, you will have no problem. You still can with the earlier models but you may have some rubbing issues until you lift the front.

I have a 2K4 and those will fit just fine without any height modification at all. Even with stock bumpers and no shackle you will be fine with that size. Just make sure to take the flaps off before or during the switch. Made the mistake of leaving mine on until a run and was a real pain to take off in the lot.

265 75 16's will fit perfectly! I have Nitto Terra Grapplers in that size and the only rub came from the mud flaps, which you don't have on anyways so you are A OK.

If I had to do it over, I'd maybe look at doing 285 75 16's since I think those should fit being just a touch wider...would give a bit wider footprint to help with traction.
