They are coming to Albany in November, the Times Union Center (former Pepsi Arena).

Actually, it is the fact that I am a hardcore Metallica fan that prevents me from enjoying anything they have done post garage days...
They should have called it quits before hemming their shirts...

I am a die hard fan and have been since Kill 'Em All. While it would be awesome if they recorded another Puppets or Justice album, I think they would have faded into history much earlier if they just came out with the same thing over and over. It took a while for me to get into St. Anger. I think what would have helped this album would have been the recording methods. I kind of like the idea that they recorded the tracks "live", but the production quality sucked. The drums sound like the bucket drummers you see on the streets. The problem I have with the last two albums is the lyrics. I don't know if it's Hetfield being sober or what but they're very elementary. The music on Death Magnetic is good but sounds like they're cramming too many seperate songs into one which makes for a very disjointed sound. Anyways, I still like it and love the band who by the way are getting inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend. Sorry for the rant.
