Frame Stiffeners..WHERE?!

Anybody know where I can get a set or does anybody have a set around, every place says they've been discontinued. Thanks in advance!

My friend you are correct. Unfortunately that was only if your xterra included the towing package which mine did not, I got the hitch from a junk yard

Sorry dude I don't know or wait a second its preaty much a peace of metal that goes on frame can't u just ge lental from homo depote drill holels and use on the inner part of the frame?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. If I can't find someplace that sells them or anyone with them in a couple of days I'll just make my own. But I definitely need them before I put my bumper on there

This might be a newbie question but....why do you need frame stiffeners to put your bumper on? What kind of bumper?

On older xterras('00-'04) the rear frame horns are c channels. They can be bent more easily because of that fact they're not boxed. The frame stiffeners slide inside to make it more rigid. I'm building a rear bumper with tire carrier which is alot more weight on those horns than intended. Some people say you don't need them, it's more of a precaution thing

I'm not sure how much yet cuz I haven't purchased steel yet. But I think in the $300-400 range. Once it's completed I'll give you a more accurate number

I do have a drawing. I used to have a program on my computer to do it all 3D but the license expired so I free handed it. I'll try to scan it to my computer sunday

Why not just have a metal shop or friend make them. It's really a pretty simple design.
