No pic, but I've learned that my welding shop is a PokeStop in that newfangled game. As if we didn't get enough drunk tourists from thr Sam Adams brewery stumbling in.

I used to go to Singapore for work. This is a picture of Clark Quay at night, from my hotel room balcony. Place was so cool.

A beautiful Defender parked in south London on our trip this week.

Picked up my pass to camp on the beach at Naucet south. I took the truck and camper out for a test drive. This truck always amazes me.

It handled great. More body roll compared to no camper, but I had no trouble in the sand. Even the soft sand between the dune trail and the beach was no problem. Aired down to 17psi and ran in 4lo in 3rd gear for most of it.

For the fun of it I looked up the weight of the camper. It is just under 1500 pounds dry. GVWR for the camper is 1900. I know the truck is over 5000 pounds with armor and minimum gear. So I think 6500 pounds is a safe estimate for how i traveled yesterday. It was just the truck and camper and the gear I needed to pass their oversand inspection. I'm going to my local CAT scales today to find out the actual weight of the combo.

Looks like I was a little off on my calculations.
