LINXC guys know these pics....
You love the cracked windshield...dont lie
the infamous roll call, trail damage and saggy suspension
Parking lot shots are frowned upon...im hoping the sheer muddiness will redeem me
some more parking lot posing
first section of trail after truckie's quarterly washing
in cab 40MPH doubletracking..it gets hairy sometimes
at the end of that section i realized i neglected to remove my antenna *doh*
i call this move the flat spring flexout...i cant wait till one of those babies break
more flexyness...its so...stock
More doubletime doubletrack...LI is flat, what can i say?
this little descent was designed and constructed entirely by someones grandma
...so ill go down it because i have no choice
if D didnt get out of the way, the next shot in the gramma's descent series would've been in my lap
did i mention i have a REALLY cracked windshield?
so this pic dosent do this part of the trail justice, im on a 20 or so degree angle here...weee....
some of my buds dont agree with me, but i think this is a pretty decent shot.
..you have two choices on this part, you can either go over or go around....we go around *puss*
this section is trickier than it looks...the approch
the maneuver..i went WAY too wide and scuffed up my bumper...good spotting.
..all safe and sound on the bottom!
i may be short, but im still badass..grrrr...we call it "scrappy"
you cant see it but im flipping D the bird here.
get...MUDDY...maybe?
the guy before me had a little trouble with this part....my little truckie, however, did not
just a little tippy here.
one of the highest points on LI, the white thing at the bottom is a guy playin paintball....he has no idea.
bumpy bumpy.
D was SUPPOSED to get me going through the water crossing, but he flinched and ran away, this is the result.
the water crossing...i fried a battery terminal in there last week and now i need plug wires...four feet at its deepest.
you go up on the right...then you go up on the left....weeeee
we'll call this one the aww yeah shot....i just passed the crossing without something going horrifically wrong...a celebration is necessary
more 40 mph doubletrack
a nice descent here, nothing spectacular
this is us in the air on some doubletrack...D hit the shutter and the roof at the same time...coincidence? i think not.
D managed to get a shot of the landing, if you dont do it right, you WILL wrap your truck up
IDK what this is, it looks like the back, IDK why.
you cant go too fast here, notice how the treeline drops off? yeah that would suck.
..beginning of a decent obstacle here.
i took this pic then i gave the camera up and actually drove.
another good landing shot....
the trail goes left...right...drop...left...rise...right...flat
i got out of the truck and thought this would be a good pic...i was wrong
heh..... i left my door open...
this is D...co-pilot, spotter, mechanic, photographer....hes pulling out a bunch of debris we picked up from a bottom-out...what a guy.
hope you enjoy these, i sure do.
PS....sorry for the bandwidth-sucking on my second post.
