We have been working on a new project that we embarked on as something fun for ourselves, then thought that maybe some of our Nexterra friends might be interested in!
MMDR Designs is excited to introduce 3D printed Nexterra Signature Event Miniatures and Nexterra Membership Miniatures!
The signature event miniatures will commemorate each major event that the Nexterra club hosts with a different design that can be proudly displayed in any home or business. Currently we have been working on this year’s events and have one for the Northern Exposure Run, Fools Run, ECXC, B2SR, Halloween Run and Toys 4 Tots Run. The basic models will come unpainted in grey resin. They are paintable with acrylic miniature detailing paints and brushes by the purchaser or left in the grey state. We will take custom painting requests on a case by case basis, but at additional costs.
Northern Exposure Run: A sign with the run details on one side and the snow tire (mountain with a snowflake) symbol on the other.
Fool’s Run: A 2-faced coin with the dual run dates and Fool’s Run face design on both sides.
ECXC: A 3-dimensional text design with “ECXC 2016” jumping toward the front and with a threaded bolt through the top.
B2SR: A 3-dimensional X with “B2SR 2016” across the front and Nexterra on the sides.
Halloween Run: A gravestone design with the run details on one side and “RIP Gremlin Graveyard” on the other side.
Toys 4 Tots Run: A gift tag design with the gift details on one side (the run details) and the Toys 4 Tots basic train logo on the other.
The Nexterra Membership Miniatures are to denote the various levels of membership within the club, Forum Member, Supporting Member and Supporting Vendor. They all have the same basic design, which is a cube style X that looks like a flat-head screw on the top, and has the level of membership lettered on opposing sides, while “NEXTERRA” and “2016” are also on the other opposing sides. These also come in grey with the ability to be painted.
We also included a finished picture of one of our membership miniatures painted with a red base and then a silver overlay to show an example of the painting options.
Currently, some of these designs can simply stand on their own (ECXC, B2SR, Halloween and the membership miniatures). All the designs have holes in them to be able to hang with thread.
We will only be printing these to order and will be taking orders for these via PM with a deposit due before printing begins. Please PM us for pricing as pricing will vary depending on how many you order at once.
