Found this on the NEA Site under public events
Crawling For A Cure will have our 4th Annual event in Monson MA at the Quaboag Riders M/C on October 15th. This year proceeds are going to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation as well as The Pink Angels Inc an organization that assists Breast Cancer patients in New England with treatment related expenses and assistance. Last year we donated a total of $10,000.00 and we hope to donate a lot more this year! Admission to the event is $20 and we will have raffles, trail rides, a vendor area and more. We would appreciate any volunteers for the event and welcome people to set up a club booth at our event as well. If anyone is interested in being a vendor or donating a raffle prize at the event please feel free to email us at info@crawlingforacure.org. Please feel free to cross post this on other forums or anywhere you feel appropriate.

Thank you,
Jeff and the Crawling For A Cure team

Neat. As always, I'll have to see if I'm free at all that weekend...

Nice I might be able to make this work. Do we know the trail ratings? Anything nice and hard or is it stock trails? Either way I might be able to go.

The trail ratings vary from green to red
they mostly are blue
they use these trails to allow everyone to be able to do something.
I have never run them but have seen pics. and heard feed back on them.
search "Crawling for a cure monsoon ma."
also the hill climb section for the competition races is sick...
search "Quaboag races monsoon ma." on you tube.
they also do the Jeep go topless day there with 200 jeeps.
so you could search "jeep go topless day" but not sure what will pop up...LOL.

Just RSVP'd on the Facebook page. Is there anything else I need to do to sign up? I expect to at least have some new tires by then. Will my stock 2014 X be able to handle it?

The green trails are still pretty rough in spots.
the trails are geared mostly for Jeeps .
so stock is not like dirt road stock or Green .
I could not say "yes" and feel right about it.

Our next easy run would be the Halloween run. but it will be at night 8)
and you would need your side steps and mud flaps off for any type
of wheeling . stock or other.

Never been to Monson, so can't add to anything Ernie has already said. In general Jeep oriented trail rating are on the harder side of the ratings.

Do the NEXterra guys usually meet up at these events or just go every man for himself?

I'm new to the community (and offroading in general) and want to make sure I know what I'm doing when I come up from Long Island.

Just going to be me, my fiance and my 2014 X with new Grabber AT2's.

Best to find out who else is going & work out if a meet-up spot will work.
Personally, I'm not attending. Sounds like a fun event though.

Does everyone have a usual HAM or CB Freq that they use to keep in touch during these events?

I'll probably be on 146.520 2M and CB 16. My HAM callsign is KD2JAG.

Check into whether or not you need to sign up for the trail rides. I looked into it last year, and IIRC you have to sign up & pay for the trail rides and there were limited spots for each ride.
