...Unless they cancel the event for inclement weather! Cars and Coffee will be rain-dated for October 29th. The next Lawn Event will be Japanese Day on the 16th. Heads up, non-C&C Lawn Days do charge an admission or participation free depending on how you want to interact with the event.

Welp, gotta work on the 16th (plus it's mom's birthday) so I will be missing out on Japanese Day. You all should still go, though. My schedule is wide open for the last C&C though. Fingers crossed...

The roadster has been having fuel delivery problems (i.e. there's rusty shit in the gas tank) but the weather is looking great. If you look up the Japanese car day pics from previous years, there has been some seriously cool stuff there. Like a unicorn BNR34-GTR in Mass!? Some pics from C&C yesterday: As usual, I got there early. Got directed up the hill. Awesome! The Musuem's exhibit is still mostly BMW, but these two gems showed up since the last time I was here: Back outside... Again, low Nissan turnout, just me and this Z. Jaaagg. Great color. An entire Audi club showed up, with Lightbar Douche here. They spent the morning waving their willies and revving. But no one paid attention, because this showed up right after: Now you see them... Now you don't. OEM! Born from jets. Brought to you by TATA. Somebody showed up who spoke my language. I've actually seen this rig around town so it was cool to meet him. I invited him to join up. Who says you can't point your snorkel backwards? Everything with more than two inches of ground clearance was up on the hill with me. A Hellcat Challenger was parked across from me with its hood up. I popped mine to keep him humble. At which point Trust Fund Wrangler Kid told me that I needed to clean my engine bay - should've seen the confusion on his and his teenage posse's faces when I told him the X wasn't there to be pretty. It's okay though, this totally makes up for it. I saw this SX4 at the last C&C I attended, but it was muddy and had a colormatched bike on the roof. Lifted with ATs, had a great chat with the owner and invited him to join us for Toys for Tots. And with Extinct Car Day this morning (which I didn't attend), that's the end of the 2016 Lawn season.

Wow Awesome T Great way to represent love the I'm not here to be pretty line ... I'll have to bring the 4runner up for un -pretty day ... Damn pavement pounders... Some really sweet rides there though.. I was up at OFR and GG, making the 4Runner a little less pretty yesterday. At OFR , 37 deg. an inch and a half of snow on the ground and raining at times. At GG 57 deg. at 7pm and very Dark when your wheeling Solo.
