Post subject:  Need help from the community and guys IO wheeled with

I haven't been wheeling or active for at least 6 years. Needed my Xterra as a daily driver, some life issues etc. I'm not in a good way health wise, financially and life wise, so I find myself doing something that is difficult from a pride standpoint, asking for help and in addition explaining my situation to hopefully help get that help from old friends. In the past when I asked and no one helped, I moved forward...I really can't move forward this time.

Like kick in the nuts number 10 this year, my transmission died on me on the way home from my son's cub scout event. A neighbor helped tow me.

A neighbor who is a Nissan tech looked her over, and confirmed it's the transmission. So I am currently researching options to replace the transmission.

I can get a used one supposedly with a year and no mileage limit from a guy, not sure if he will only do that if he does the work. I can possibly get one from another wheeler friend off a parts X he has, but have yet to ask, his may already be scavenged.

So my request is, if anyone has access to a lift and a transmission lift who is local and /or part of GPAX or any of the crews I wheeled with in the New Jersey/Delaware/New York/Pennsylvania area at Rausch Creek, I'd appreciate trying to set up a mod day and getting some volunteers help to do this ourselves.

I know it's a bitch. I am not working, have health issues and this could not have hit me at a worse time. If I can call on the community to help with labor and to do this, I can get my Xterra, now my daily driver, back on the road.

Thanks in advance,

Lee
