I unplugged the the ABS cable, cleaned a crap load of dirt off the sensor. Plugged it back in and took it for a 5 mile test drive.

Lights never came on and my brake pedal was 10x stiffer than it has been in the last week.

We might have this issue licked!

Haven't touched the truck. But I took it out for another 5 miles last night and still was good to go.

It always came on in the first mile or two, so I think it's all set now. The true test will be down to ECXC.

Yes, it was a single ply 2-fold napkin. I'll get the part number if anyone wants it.

Dry napkin? No liquid was added to the cleaning process? :P

Yeah, there are 6 bolts/side with lockwashers. If you want, you should be able to pick up another grade 8 one. It's a standard size.

Okay, not to change the subject back to this discussion because I'm waiting for the part numbers on those napkins, but I just bought those rocker skids off of johnnyru and went looking for bolts to put them on tonight to replace my stock bolts. When trying to replace the bolts that held my factory step rails on, I find that the OEM bolt is an M10-1.25 x 30mm thread with a 14mm hex head. I don't think they make any metric sizes in Grade 8. Today, I checked both of my local hardware stores, a TSC, and now Lowe's to no avail.

The closest thing I can find in Grade 8 is a 3/8-24x1 1/4". That looks similar, but it's not the same size.....

Am I missing something here??

Grade 5 would be fine. Stores a funny in carrying metric bolts. Around here it's hard to find stuff too.

They don't technically make them in grade 8. What you are actually looking for is a class 10.9 bolt, it is the metric equivalent to a SAE grade 8.
Although I don't remember seeing any in your area, you could check out someplace like Fastenal. They can get you any fastener you need...
