I know this is short notice but I we are having a Mod Day in RI this Sunday Dec 11.

MtnDewMike is having some work done to his rig.
- U-Joint replacement
- Slider reinstall
- Light cage install ( cage only at this time )

The Mod will be taking place indoors at our shop in N.kingstown. So don't worry about being in the cold as it's a heated warehouse.

Date - Dec 11, 2011
Time - 11:30am
Location - Middletown, RI
( PM me and I'll give you the address )

Attending:
DaveP
MtnDewMike
Ernie

Can't wait to see Mike's New Draken Off-Road Bumper in person. Also can't wait to see Ernie's SAS'd Forerunner. Last time I saw that beast in person it was on blocks in the yard.

Hope to see a few of you here

Later

DaveP

Man, it's a shame I won't get my heated mirrors for a few more days, otherwise I'd come down to join you. Hopefully we have another week of Indian summer so I can get those bad boys on in my driveway...

This! Dave, since Mike refuses to give me any decent pictures of his bumpers could you please do me the favor of taking and then posting a few shots?
Thanks.

...and Mike, thanks for nutin'...

A HUGE thanks to Ernie, Dave and Curt yesterday for all of their help! I truly appreciate it, guys! The truck is running and looking great!

Dave took a ton of pics last night before we left, so, I'm guessing he'll be posting those soon.

And, Tom, I still love ya.

YO! TOM!

Got you some Pics

So the Mod Day went well.
The first part of the Mod Day went well. We were able to install the U-Joints in No time. Ernie had a Gig later that Night and was not able to make it to Mod Day Part 2.
Part2 was held at my shop. The list to complete
- Crank Coil Overs ( What I thought was going to be the tough part was the easiest of them all )
- Slider ( Frame nut was missing, Bot was seized in the other frame nut but we finally got them installed )
- Light Bar ( Of course one of the Nutserts spun. We finally got it after taking 1/3 of the headliner down a bit )
- Shock swap ( Turns out the shock was not blown but had a TON of water trapped in the shock boot.)

Thanks to Ernie for holding the U-Joint part of the Mod Day. I bet a Nascar Pit Crew could not have changed a 3 that fast.

Thanks to Curt for swinging by and lending a few hands and tool ( Yes, I forgot my keys to my tool box at my shop )

Last but not least - El Presidente ( Thanks Buddy. Always a treat hanging out with you )

The Mod Day Crew -1 ( Ernie couldn't make it to the 2nd part of the Mod Day )

Here is what EVERYONE has been waiting for.

Mike the bumper looks great! I'm not on Facebook so never look.

Thanks for taking the pictures Dave. Man your truck looks massive, I can't wait to see it in person and in action!

Thanks for taking those great pictures, Dave!

Again - a BIG THANK YOU to Ernie, Dave and Curt for helping me out! It was a long day, but it was all accomplished!

That was Roby's goal - to keep the bumper close to factory look, but still be able to hold a winch inside, which is somewhere on my grocery list. :)

The matte finish looks way better on the Draken.
