Sorry to thread jack;
How is Tim getting his truck to NJ?
What is he "de-modding"?
How is he "repairing the x"?

Let me know if this runs into Sunday bro.

as far as i know, he's fixing the transmission and the crossmember issue sometime soon, as he will be driving it over to my house to de-mod

not sure what exactly he is taking off, i know he just put the front bumper up for sale with skid and winch, he's selling his EOE sliders, and im buying his rear bumper

yes, franken-tim

what we believe happened is:

he had terry tow it home with the rear wheels on the ground, which spun the differential spinning the drive shaft spinning the transfer case, spinning the fluid inside the case, spinning the transmission, and the trans wasnt being lubricated since the engine was off

we think

i believe he is taking it to the shop for diagnosis/trans swap

I might be up for it. I need to replace a front wheel hub assembly, and that requires the removal and reassembly of the wheel bearing and seals into the new wheel hub assembly. (I confess, I don't know how to remove and reseat wheel bearings, nor do I have any specialized tools if they are required for that work). I could use some technical knowledge on that job. The rest of my work -- replacing the Warn hubs with Hardbody hubs -- I can do.

Saturday is not good for me, must work. :(
However, Ken, I have the tools (including a bearing retaining nut socket), new seals in hand, new OEM studs in hand in case any you have are F?d up, torque specs and past experience for this job.
If you don?t get this done on Saturday for some reason, this mod day somehow drags into Sunday and I?m not helping Vinny put the skuderz he bought from Shmitty on his truck in Brooklyn I could knock it out for you and maybe re pack your bearings.
Otherwise you could make the trip to Brooklyn Sunday and we could knock it out after I?m done with Vinny.
