I can finally breathe a sigh of relief - UPS came by tonight during dinner and delivered a package. I have all my parts, and everything is correct and intact.

Seth, when are you getting the correct arms?

Well I guess you can add me to this list. If nothing else I can help document the Gen2 mods if BigE.... (See I didn't say it ) Just have to nug someone to get that mod installed. P.S. I won't be a maybe (well late maybe but will show )

I REALLY hope sometime early next week they will come in. He said he was going to ship them 2nd day. I will be disappointed if they don't come in on time.

My girlfriend is going to compile a list tomorrow of things people can bring. We have a smoker which doubles as a grill. I was thinking burgers and a cooler full of beer, but she has other ideas. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Do we have enough experienced people for a body lift? I am by no means an expert or experienced on it. Don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to discourage you from it, Eric; I just want to make sure that if we start this, we can finish it... in the same day.

Yeah me... But I think cramming one day might be extreme with two suspensions going on..

What is involved with a body lift?

Well you have to remove a bunch of stuff lift the body off the frame and add pucks and lower it and put stuff back on.

In a nutshell..

This is an email from the girlfriend this morning. We can supply the burger meat, buns and condiments. We have millions of paper plates.

Think I've helped out on about a dozen lifts by now and it is quite possible to do the pre-prep removal and the lift install (5-6 hours) with the other mods scheduled. We most likely won't be able to finish up the small trim stuff that same day (kick panels, seats, rug, etc) but the truck would be able to return home in shape. Anybody coming got a pinch seam block? We could always make one up that day if needed.

Yeah, now that I think of it, doing the body lift in the same day will be tight. I wouldn't want to rush that.

Seth, I can bring Dew and some desserts.

im sure we could make one. get a 4x4 or 2x6. I have a table saw we could fabricate one.

Well the BL work is only if BigE comes prepped. I was thinking the two of us could start working on it then as the other mods get completed more could help out. Say starting around 10 AM and finish up around 4 PM (6 hours). But since I'm pushing BigE on this and doesn't seem to work out on timing and all, I'm still looking forward to documenting some 2nd Gen mods.

Yeah I'm a bad influence on BigE, but I have promised him to help out on his BL when it does get installed. Maybe someday I'll actually meet him in person.
