Bobby, I was told by the host starting around 9:30am.

I actually have a air compressor, just not the tools right now. Let me know what I should buy either impact wrench, or what and I'll do it. Worst thing if we don't use it I'll just return it.

As long as he's not lifted now, we can maybe make it.
On the way out, we may have to lower tire pressure.

Here are the things that Shmitty suggested having on hand. I won't have time today to go out and get them, but if someone can, it'd help:

"The only advise is have him buy the "torch" blades by Milwaukee to cut the camber bolts if need be with some cutting oil or chainsaw bar chain oil works well too... and Have a rental set from autozone of the ball joint separators. Get a Map gas torch to heat the torsion bar anchors and adjusters before even trying to get them out. "

I have at least half a dozen cutting blades for my sawzall, so that could get us started, but I'm short on the balance of the list.

PM me if you're showing so that I can send you my address. It sounds like there may only be a few of us, so hopefully, we'll have at least a couple of additions.

Ok, huge thanks goes to Mike (Svendog) for helping me/ teaching me, about the lift.

6 hours and we got the whole front end done.

Total front end lift...... coming soon.

Had to cut 3 cam bolts and ran into a couple other little odds and ends. I think Scott also helped out with some info on the best thing.

Hey Smitty, we only used 2 blades to cut through 3 cam bolts, that's 6 cuts. (I was told you would be really jealous).

Picks to come later but I have to run and grab food before going into work.

Thanks again for all the info everyone, definitely glad that I had a lot of the odds and ends tools around.

Pics to come soon, hopefully.

Three words.....

'Dude's got lift'....

Pictures will be up tomorrow, but it was a good day. Thanks Shmittey and Dagger for advice and help as it helped us to 'git 'er done'.

We swapped out the UCAs with some very nice ones from AC. Thanks to judicious use of heat and a BFH, the ball joints popped like ..... well, popped like a balloon in a pin factory..

After the UCAs went in, we worked our way back put in a nice set of Sway Away t-bars, which we applied some serious cranking to.

We didn't have time to get the AALs in, but Eric left with 4 additional inches up front as well as serious need for an alignment.

All in all, the break down of time was like this:

9:45a - 12:30p Replace the UCA on the passenger side
12:45 - 1:05p Button up the passenger side
1:10p - 1:55p Replace the UCA on the driver's side
1:55p - 2:10p Button up the driver's side
2:15p - 2:50p Replace driver's side t-bar
2:50p - 2:55p Switch to passenger side
2:55p - 3:30p Replace passenger's side t-bar
3:30p - 3:45p Tune t-bars to level them out
3:45p - 4p Pick up and admire our work.

That first UCA was like my last girlfriend in that it was a total bitch. After that, everything fell into place. We were able to get one bolt out without a fight, but the balance fell victim to a vicious sawzall blade and were done for within a few minutes. The t-bars wanted to put up a fight, but thanks to some quality time in Dagger's garage gaining needed experience, they came out like like the Fab 5 on 'Queer eye for the straight guy'.

Eric started the day with 32.5 inches from the ground to the fender and left with 36.5 inches to the fender, with about half an inch available at the bumpstops. So, once he settles down a bit, we can crank him back up and give him back the lost height... which will only help more, in my humble opinion.
