Scott, thank you so much for all of your help. This would NEVER have gone off as well as it did without your expert help!

Donald, thanks for risking the drive all the way out to help us out!! Good to finally meet ya!

Anthony, thanks for all the Dif Breather parts and help on the truck!

This was the most fun I've had working on ANY kind of vehicle in my life. I learned a HELLUVA lot this wknd and I cant wait til I get to help out w/ someone elses BL so I can return the favors! Oh and Scott/Anthony, thank Janelle/Kim for the excellent Brownies! I only had the strength left to eat one but it was awesome!

That sucks you guys had the problem with the steering shaft. It was probably the same damn thing we was having problems with on mine.It was almost like it was way too short.

Exactly. luckily mine didn't slip off (we kept a close eye on it after the problem with Jay's).

Looks great. The BL really makes anthony's truck look mean without the shrock bumper.

Here's the other things we got done during this mod day besides the body lifts:

Jay:
- Changed his Poor Mans LOWER to a Poor Man's LIFT
- Mounted SR engine skidplate
- Extended diff breather

Me:
- New AC condenser
- New horn (3rd one now)
- New skidplate bolts

Did they get worn down that quick? You just put those plates on...

No, the ones I put on initially were to short, so no lock washers. As a result, they were coming loose. So I just got longer bolts to add lock washers.

Well worked on the check list for body lift yesterday and think Dagger might want to kill me after reading through it all (Excel file). BTW Dagger (FYI for everyone: I will always use screen IDs on the net and not everyone's true name), I sent it to the email you listed here on the UNYX board. Once we finalize the file, anyone is more than willing to have a copy. Was getting tired to proof read it another time. I do want to have the one person (Oleg) who has more experience than Dagger or myself review the file for anything the two of us might have missed before releasing it to the public.
As far as the skid plate bolts mine are the same (too short) and think maybe we should suggest to Shrock to get longer ones.

DMpmfd, the list looks good. I only had a chance to look at it quickly, but what I see looks good. I just got home and when I have a chance, I will peruse it and make any changes or suggestions.

I like the checklist. It makes it a lot easier to make sure you have done everything.

TJ has to stop posting that the BL takes 3 hours. We had both trucks lifted and three hours, but that is just the lift on, you still have to put the truck back together. And, except for the steering shaft issue, both lifts went great. Many times, there are more problems with getting out bolts or alignment issues with the bolts. Best case senario, four hours, with experienced help.

Jay (as well):
- Idler arm brace installed
- Frame re-tapped and replaced bolts for sliders (anyone who saw my cob-job at ECXC will understand how big that is!!)

Just checked my rear mounts again, since Jay's were loose after the install (mine were not loose). And they are loose now. Not as loose as Jay's were, but definitely not tight.
